Young Republicans is the name of an organization for members of the American Republican Party under the age of 40. It has both a national organization and a large number of chapters in individual states.It can also be used as a generic term to mean relatively youthful political conservatives, whether or not they belong to the organization. In this usage it often carries the unspoken assumption that younger people are traditionally expected to be comparatively liberal in their politics.
