WrestleMania is the name given to the grandest event in Sports Entertainment started in March 31, 1985 in New York's Madison Square Garden by the WWE's Chairman Vince McMahon.WrestleMania is to wrestling as the SuperBowl is to professional football or as the World Series is to Major League Baseball. It is the grandest of all major wrestling events. Roman numerals were used for some Wrestlemania events to show the importance in comparison with the Super Bowl roman numerals. But some Wrestlemanias get simple numerals like Wrestlemania 2000 or Wrestlemania 2.
