William IV of Aquitaine (937-February 5 995), nicknamed Iron Arm, was Duke of Aquitaine and Count of Poitiers between 963 and 995. William was the son of William III of Aquitaine and Adele of Normandy. He was brother in law of Hugh I of France, married to his sister Adelaide.
