A wheel or bicycle is the poker hand 5-4-3-2-A. In all casino games and nearly all home games, this plays as a five-high straight. Some home games may not recognize this as a valid straight, but this exception to common practice is not recommended.This is also the best possible hand in ace-to-five low poker.
The origin of the name is unknown, but it is believed to have something to do with the popular bicycle-patterned playing cards issued by the United States Playing Card Company.
