Westmannia, or Västmanland, is a historical Province or landskap in middle Sweden. It borders to Sudermannia, Nericia, Wermelandia, Dalecarlia and Uplandia.
Westmannia is divided upon Västmanland County, occupying the eastern half and Örebro County, which is claiming the western half.
Western Västmanland traditionally belonged to the mining district of Bergslagen.
Westmannia was historically divided into chartered cities and districts. Within Bergslagen they were called mountain districts, and in the rest of the province hundreds.County
