West Stour Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

West Stour is a small village located in the Blackmore Vale in North Dorset, which has a population of 187 (2001). It is one of a group of villages known as The Stours, located in close proximity to the River Stour and close to the town of Gillingham. West Stour has a village hall, one public house and a service station on the main A30 road.
