The town of Waverley is located in Taranaki, 47 miles northwest of Wanganui. It was an important colonial stronghold during the Maori wars of the 1860s, during which time the town was called Wairoa.
Waverley, South Island
Waverley in Dunedin is a residential suburb at the western end of Otago Peninsula, overlooking Andersons Bay and the upper reaches of Otago Harbour.
