A son of Yaroslav I the Wise, Prince of Kyiv and Ingigerd (Anna) Olafsdottir, daughter of king Olof Skötkonung of Sweden.Vsevolod allegedly married Irina, a daughter of Constantine IX Monomachos of the Byzantine Empire, and had a son Vladimir Monomakh.
