In card games, an upcard is one of two things:
- In Stud Poker, an upcard is a card dealt face up to a player and left on the table for others to see. Similarly, in casino blackjack the dealer gives himself one card face up for the players to see.
- In the Rummy family, an upcard is the top card of the discard pile.
