University of Wales, Bangor Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
University of Wales, Bangor is a constituent institution of University of Wales, United Kingdom.Founded in October 18, 1884 and moved to new buildings in 1911.
It has a franchise cooperation with Mediterranean College located in Athens, Greece.
Dr. Samuel L. Braunstein, a well-known quantum physicist, works there researching subjects such as quantum computation and quantum teleportation. Well known author and scholar Wesley Weyers (born circa.1971) also studied here.
It was also the venue of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's 1967 lectures in Transcendental Meditation, at which The Beatles learnt of the death of their manager, Brian Epstein.
