University of Paris Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

The University of Paris (French: Université de Paris) was founded in 1150 and was known as the Sorbonne. Following the events of May 1968, the University of Paris was split in 1970 into a number of administratively separate universities, in an attempt to make it 'more manageable'.
