Unified Team Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
The Unified Team was the name used for the sports team of the former Soviet Union (also Commonwealth of Independent States) at both the Winter and Summer Olympic Games of 1992 (in Albertville and Barcelona, respectively). The official French name used was Equipe Unifiée, hence the abbreviation EUN which appears in result listings. The team consisted of athletes of all former Soviet republics except the Baltic states:
- Armenia (not in Winter Olympics)
- Azerbaijan (not in Winter Olympics)
- Belarus
- Georgia (not in Winter Olympics)
- Kazakhstan
- Kyrgyzstan (not in Winter Olympics)
- Moldova (not in Winter Olympics)
- Russia
- Tajikistan (not in Winter Olympics)
- Turkmenistan (not in Winter Olympics)
- Ukraine
- Uzbekistan
