U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

The United States Senate Committee on Rules and Administration is responsible for dealing with the rules of the Senate, with administration of congressional buildings, and with credentials and qualifications of members of the Senate, including responsibility for dealing with contested elections.

The Committee is chaired by Senator Trent Lott, Republican of Mississippi. The ranking Democrat is Christopher Dodd of Connecticut.
