U.S. Air Forces in Europe Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

The United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) is the U.S. Air Force component of U.S. European Command and one of two major Air Force commands outside of the continental United States, the other being the Pacific Air Forces.

USAFE is headquartered in Ramstein Air Base, Germany. USAFE is subdivided into the Third Air Force based at RAF Mildenhall and the Sixteenth Air Force based at Aviano AB, Italy.
