Triple word score Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
In Scrabble, a triple word score, or TWS, is a premium scoring space. This means that a word set on the board covers a "Triple Word Score" space. That word scores thrice as much as it normally would. In the pictorial example to the right, the Q and the S (blank) in the word quetzels cover "Triple Word Score" squares, tripling the score for the word twice, for a total of 365 points.
On the board, a "Triple Word Score" space is designated by a dark red colour.
