Details, Explanation and Meaning About Tony Hawk's Underground

Tony Hawk's Underground Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Tony Hawk's Underground (2003) is the fifth title from the Tony Hawk skating video game series. In Underground you start as a no-name skater from New Jersey who works his way up to the status of pro skater by accomplishing goals along the way, like in past Tony Hawk games. Underground has a much more cinematic gameplay than past games with numerous video clips and cut scenes.

Tony Hawk's Underground was the first game in the series to remove focus from playing as a professional skater, and instead focus primarily on the career of a created skater (although a player created skater option has been available since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2). Along with the new story mode, one of the biggest changes in Tony Hawk's Underground was the new system for gaining status points. In previous Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, the player would collect "stat points" throughout the levels, and assign them to various statistics. In Tony Hawk's Underground, the player is able to increase their skater's status in various aspects by performing certain feats, for example, a player could increase their skater's manual balance by manualing for 5 seconds.

Tony Hawk's Underground is available on the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox, and Windows PC platforms. Online features are only available on the PC and PlayStation 2 platforms however.

You start as a local skater with hardly enough money to even keep your skateboard in working condition. You and your buddy (for now) Eric Sparrow catch Chad Muska's skate demo when he comes to your hometown. After impressing Chad with your skills, he tells you to try and get sponsored by your local skate shop, owned by Stacy Peralta, and gives you a board of his.
