Tomas Tranströmer (Born 1931) is a Swedish writer, poet and translator, whose poetry has acquired a great influence around Sweden, and also around the world.He began writing at thirteen, then he continued writing poetry and translate books; other poets accused him for being apart for his tradition and not include political issues in his poems and novels; in 1990, he suffered a stroke that is affecting his linguistic abilities, but that doesn't get him apart from writing. He is a candidate for Nobel Prize in Literature, and some contemporary writers consider him one of the best poets of his country.
