Tim Curtis Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Timothy Stephen Curtis (born 1960) was an England Cricketer. He was born in Kent and moved to Malvern in Worcestershire in the 1970s. He entered the Royal Grammar School Worcester where he became captain of Rugby and Cricket and Head Boy of the school. He moved on to Hatfield College, University of Durham in 1979 where he captained the University Cricket team. In 1983 he went to Magdalene College, Cambridge and became a cricket Cambridge Blue. After returning to Worcester to teach English at his Old School (RGS Worcester) he played cricket for Worcestershire.

In 1988 he was selected for the English cricket team and played in a total of 5 Test matches as opening batsman.

In 1993 he became Captain of Worcestershire County Cricket Club which won the Nat West Cricket Trophy that year. He retired in 1996 and continues to write and coach cricket.
