The Weirdos are a typical art-punk band from LA. Fronted by John Denny with his brother Dix on guitar and bass contributed by Dave Trout, Drummer that goes by Nicky Beat and the other guitarist Cliff Roman, this band formed back in '71. They were originally a arty band but years later were featured in a news article featuring punk rock groups and so it stuck. They had a very D.I.Y ethic to them since they were art students and punk too. They dressed in anything they could get their hands on, bags, straps, chains and whatever!
