The Society for Art of imagnation *[1] is an international artists membership society whose stated mission is “to battle the spirit of anti-art that is endemic around us.”

They have branches all over the world. The American branch is a registered US Charity. They are affiliated with the Fantastic Art Centre in South Africa.

Their Honorary Art Members are Ernst Fuchs, H R Giger, Bob Venosa, Martina Hoffmann, Alex Grey, Laurie Lipton, Henry Boxer, De Es, and Ingo.

The SAI has annual art shows which hand out cash and other awards. They publish a magzine called “Inscape."

The SAI was founded in 1961 a group of artists from England, calling themselves the “Inscape Group.” They included Diana Hesketh, Peter Holland, Brigid Marlin, Jack Ray and Steve Snell*[1].
