The Incredible Machine Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
The Incredible Machine is a series of games developed by Sierra Entertainment where the objective is to place different objects in a field in order to perform some simple task (eg. "put ball inside box" or "light candle".) by means only of objects that were available to the player for a certain level. For example, one's objects available could vary from simple ropes and pulleys to electrical generators, bowling balls and even cats. The levels start with some fixed objects that cannot be moved by the player, so the only way to solve the puzzle is to use the objects given to you.
The game simulated not just the physical interactions between these objects, but also some other ambience effecs like air pressure and gravity variations.
The physics simulation engine does not use any sort of random number, assuring that the results don't depend on chance.
The Incredible Machine was winner of several prizes due to its innovative style and precise reality simulation.
