Teofilo Vargas Sein Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Teofilo Vargas Sein (born c. 1926), better known as Aaron, is a well known Puerto Rican religious leader.

Vargas Sein grew as a pentecostal. He would later separate from that doctrine and join his adoptive mother, Juanita Garcia; in the founding of a new religious group, the MITA group.

Originally, MITA had eleven ordained ministers, Aaron included. As the religion's congregation expanded, Aaron began to gain power as its leader. Eventually, the MITA congregation built centers in Colombia, Mexico and Spain, among other countries.

One of the MITA religion's laws was that no member could have children after joining the cult, and, in the case that new members already had children, no new children could be conceived. Aaron allegedly had a son in 1970, rumor which would later come back to haunt him.

Cardona Pastrana abandoned the religion during 1995, after the MITA organization allegedly discovered that he himself had been in contact with a son who had been conceived after his convertion into the MITA religion, and who lived in Orlando, Florida. Cardona Pastrana says that he received a telephone message from members of the religion on February 9 of that year; having flown back to Puerto Rico the next day to meet up with congregation members, he alleges that he was humilliated by MITA members on February 11, therefore quitting the religion.

While Aaron's power in the organization grew, he remained a famous, albeit somewhat quiet, religious leader in Puerto Rico after he became the organization's top leader. People across the island identified Aaron as "the MITA leader", or "The MITA one". He frequently travelled to Colombia and other Central American countries, as well as to South America, Europe and the United States. Most of his travels, according to MITA officials, were due to religious matters.

In 2004, a scandal broke in Puerto Rico when a man by the name of Samuel Benitez alleged being Aaron's son. The allegation was widely publicized by [%5
