Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TMB) is the largest telecommunication company in Malaysia. It has a near monopoly on the fixed line network and has a considerable market share of the mobile communications market after the acquisition of Celcom Berhad.It is an internet service provider offering narrowband (TMnet) and broadband (Streamyx). Due to its near monopoly of the last mile connections, Streamyx is now the sole DSL broadband provider in the country.
It was formerly a government agency - Telekom Malaysia - prior to its corporatisation and privatisation. TMB is listed on the Bursa Malaysia.
