Tekken Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Tekken (鉄拳 lit. iron fist) is a series of fighter games developed and produced by Namco. Originally an arcade game, it has been ported to some video game consoles, such as the Sony PlayStation.Tekken involves the fighting styles of:
- Karate: Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama
- Kung Fu: Lei Wulong, Ling Xiaoyu, Julia Chang, Feng Wei, Wang Jinrei
- Tae Kwon Do: Hwoarang, Baek Doo San
- Boxing: Steve Fox
- Kick Boxing: Bryan Fury, Bruce Irvin
- Wrestling: King I, King II, Armor King
- Vale Tudo: Craig Marduk
- Capoeira: Eddy Gordo, Christie Montiero
- Aikido: Nina Williams, Anna Williams, Asuka Kazama
- Judo: Paul Phoenix
- Jeet Kune Do: Marshall Law, Forest Law
- Sumo: Ganryu
- Ninjitsu: Yoshimitsu, Kunimitsu, Raven
As with all fighter games, players each choose a character from different, exotic worldwide settings and fight hand-to-hand with each other. It is primarily a competitive two-player series, but a human player can fight an artificial intelligence-controlled character for practise or amusement.
It shares some gameplay mechanics and characters with Namco's other 3D fighter series, Soul Calibur.
