Stefan Tzanev (b. 1936) is a contemporary author in Bulgaria known for his essays, plays and poems, as well as historical novels. Among his books are Ubijcite sa mezhdu nas (The killers are among us). His plays include Istinskiat Ivajlo (The true Ivajlo), which was banned.
