Details, Explanation and Meaning About Snidely Whiplash

Snidely Whiplash Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Snidely Whiplash is the name of the cartoon villain who is archnemesis to Dudley Do-Right in the tongue-in-cheek series by American animation pioneer Jay Ward. The series was introduced on The Bullwinkle Show, a version of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show that began in 1963.

Whiplash is the stereotypical villain of the silent movie era, wearing black clothing, cape, and a top hat, and twirling his long mustache. He was the antithesis of Do-Right, a picture-perfect stereotype of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police do-gooder.

The character was voiced by Hans Conried. Snideley was later played by Alfred Molina in a live action Dudley Do-Right movie which also starred Brendan Fraser as the aforementioned Dudley.
