In his execution video, his three captors stand behind Koda and Koda sits; the captors stand while Koda sits on the American flag. Koda has his hands tied behind his back and is blind-folded while his captor in the middle, behind him, reads a speech which lasts for 2 minutes and 5 seconds. After that, the captor says something else for a few seconds, then all of the captors place him on the ground while the captor to Koda's left begins to slit his throat with a knife and the other two hold him with his chest to the ground. He groans for a slight second after the knife has cut into his throat. Blood begins to rush out as he has his throat slit.
Throughout the part where a captor is slitting his throat and cutting off his head, they are constanting chanting, "Allahu Akhbar", which is Arabic for "God is Great".
Then the captor, who was already severed his head, places the head on the body of Koda. After that, there is pause with his severed head on the body. Next, all three captors hold up his head covered in blood, then then one of the captors holds up his head, and the video containing his execution ends with views of Koda's blood-covered, severed head on top of his body and a few seconds of shots with the banner of Tawhid wal Jihad.
