Beginning in 1995, there was a series of family specials. In the first of which, before the annual Founders' Day celebration, Becky wishes to meet a real cowboy from a long time ago for just one day. It gets granted when a cowboy named Ned Kincaid (Ed Begley, Jr) and his horse disappear off the wall and into the station. He sprains his hand after he falls off his horse and Stacy brings him back to the station to bandage it up. While he's there, he becomes very popular and he and Stacy fall in love. He even wins the Founders' Day costume contest for "dressing" like a "real" cowboy. Of course, he disappears back into the wall as a mural at the end of the day.
