Sarek Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Sarek is a Vulcan character in the fictional Star Trek universe. He was played by Mark Lenard.He was born in 2164 and became a Vulcan ambassador, and father both of Sybok and, more famously, of Spock. He was married three times, firstly to Sybok's mother, a Vulcan princess, secondly to Spock's mother, a human called Amanda Grayson, and finally to another human, Perrin.
In the episode "Sarek", set in 2366, he was discovered to have Bendai's syndrome, an incurable degenerative disease of the mind, somewhat similar to Alzheimer's disease, that resulted in him being unable to control his emotions. He died during the events of "Unification" in 2368.
