Rowlett Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Alternate uses: Rowlett (disambiguation)The Rowlett numbering system is a proposed numbering system that differs from the common short scale numbering system as follows:
- The common short scale system uses n-illion, using Latin numerical prefixes, to mean 103n+3 where n is any number greater than or equal to 2.
- The common long scale system uses n-illion, using Latin numerical prefixes, to mean 106n where n is any number greater than or equal to 2.
- The Rowlett system uses "gillion" for 109 and n-illion for 103n, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 4, using Greek numerical prefixes. (Million is common to both systems.)
