Rowan University is a public university located in Glassboro, New Jersey comprised of 42 buildings. There is also a satellite campus in Camden NJ.

History
It was founded in 1923 as Glassboro Normal School. It became Glassboro State Teachers College in the 1930s, and later became Glassboro State College in 1958. The school was renamed Rowan College of New Jersey in 1992 after Henry and Betty Rowan gave $100 million to the school. It became Rowan University in 1997 when it achieved university status.

10 Year Plan
Rowan University is currently enguaged in an agressive 10 year plan. Already complete are some renovations, and a new Science Building. In the works is an Education Building.
