Rotational symmetry Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
In physics and mathematics, rotational symmetry is the invariance of an object or a system of equations under the rotations - for example the SO(3) transformations of the three-dimensional space.Laws of physics are rotationally invariant if they do not distinguish different directions in space. Because of Noether's theorem, rotational symmetry of a physical system is equivalent to the angular momentum conservation law.
