Rogers Communications, founded by Ted Rogers, is Canada's largest cable television service provider with approximately 2.2 million customers in southern Ontario (90% of customers), New Brunswick and Newfoundland. Rogers offers cable television, digital cable and high definition television, video on demand, broadband Internet access, interactive television and enhanced television. Rogers Cable also operates Rogers Video, Canada's largest domestically owned chain of Video Stores. Rogers Cable Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rogers Communications Inc. (TSX: RCI.A and RCI.B; NYSE: RG).Rogers Communications also offer videocassette, DVD and video game sales and rentals through Rogers Video, Canada's second largest chain of video stores. There are 273 Rogers Video stores as of June 30, 2003.
Through Rogers Wireless, they also offer wireless communications services.
Rogers owns Toronto's multicultural television stations, CFMT-TV "OMNI 1" and CJMT-TV "OMNI 2".
It also owns the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team.
