Richard Genovese (born 1947) is a surrealist collagist, photographer, painter, and theorist.

He has collaborated with Ray Johnson and is in close association with the following groups:

London Surrealist Group;
Upland Trout, UK;
Vivid Surrealism (Zazie, Pierre Petiot);
Blue Feathers Project, Minnesota Surrealist Group;
Surrealists in Saint Louis;
Grupo Surrealista De Săo Paulo Sergio Lima;

The Surrealist Group in Stockholm Johannes Bergmark

Genovese is the intitiator of the Altered Lithograph, Excavation collage and novel, Manchando photography and the Spiral Poem.
