Details, Explanation and Meaning About Renault Savanna

Renault Savanna Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

The Renault Savanna (which was sold on left hand drive markets as the Nevada) was a practical seven-seater estate car based on the R21 hatchback and saloon. Production began in 1986. It was powered by 1.7 and 2.0 petrol engines as well as an oil burning 2.0 turbo-diesel, all of which gave good performance and refinement. Ride comfort and handling were also impressive. Build quality was not disastrous but could not match Volkswagen standards.

The Savanna underwent a facelift along with the rest of the R21 range in 1989 which saw improved trim and finish, otherwise there were few real changes.

The R21 was discontinued in early 1994 after the launch of the Laguna, but the Savanna continued until the end of 1995 until it was superseded by the Laguna Estate.
