Renault Kangoo Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

The Kangoo is a mini-MPV produced by Renault. The rear windows and seats can be deleted, producing a small van sold as the 'Kangoo Express'. The Kangoo is popular with the mobility-impaired and wheelchair users due to its height and accessability. It can be adapted to include mounting points for wheelchairs. Both the Kangoo and Kangoo Express are available in 4x4 versions, with raised ride height and altered styling. The Kangoo is manufactured in Renault's MCA plant in Maubeuge, France. The Kangoo is also sold by Nissan in Latin America and Europe as the Kubistar.

The Kangoo and Kangoo Express are available with a choice of seven engines:
  • 1.2 litre 16v petrol engine producing 75bhp
  • 1.6 litre 16v petrol engine producing 95bhp (Also available in Kangoo 4x4)
  • 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine producing 65bhp
  • 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine producing 80bhp
