Renault Espace Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

The Renault Espace is a MPV automobile produced by Renault. The original Espace was designed by Matra and produced by Matra in Romorantin. It was launched in 1984 and was the first MPV avalible in Europe. Four generations of the Espace have been produced. The original was wedge shaped, but later versions have become more rounded.

• Espace (1984-1991)
• Espace II (1991-1996)
• Espace III (1996-2002)
• Espace IV (2002-)

A special edition known as the Espace-F1 was also produced in 1994.
