Ray Allen is a professional basketball player who has played most of his career with the Milwaukee Bucks. During the 2002-2003 season he was involved in a trade with Gary Payton and went to the Seattle Supersonics. Allen has played the position of Shooting guard throughout his career.
Allen, who attended the University of Connecticut (where he was an All-American), is a tremendous basketball player with excellent shooting range, winning the 3-point contest in 2000. He is regarded as one of the purest shooters in NBA history. Allen also starred as "Jesus Shuttlesworth" in the Spike Lee film He Got Game, where he played (surprise) an outstanding high school basketball player.
