Students or alumni of Purdue University are referred to as Boilermakers.
Members of Purdue's football team are also called Boilermakers. The Purdue Boilermakers have made two appearances at the Rose Bowl in 1967 and 2000, winning the former and losing the latter. They are currently ranked #5 in the nation. [1]
