Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur (PACA) is one of the administrative regions of France. It contains the former province of Provence, Côte d'Azur and a part of the Alps mountain range. It encompasses six départements in south-eastern France, bounded to the east by the Italian border, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea and to the west by Languedoc-Roussillon, with the Rhône river marking its western border. Its logo comprises a shield with the traditional heraldric flags and ensigns of its subordinate regions.
