Philip Taylor Kramer Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Philip Taylor Kramer (July 12, 1952 - date and place of death unknown) was a bass guitar player for the rock group Iron Butterfly in the 1970's; after his band career he worked as a physicist.He disappeared on February 12, 1995, after apparently placing a telephone call saying he was going to kill himself. He was never heard from again: this led to a massive search and many news reports and even a segment on Unsolved Mysteries some years later. On May 29, 1999, his body was found at the bottom of Malibu Canyon in California. It is believed by the authorities that he committed suicide.
During the four intervening years, however, the case attracted much speculation of the most exotic kind, possibly because he is known to have been absorbed in the occult. Among the unusual theories put forth for his disappearance was that he might have been kidnapped by the United States government, or some other government, because of purported research into faster-than-light travel.
