Plot

Happy-go-lucky man-child Pee-wee Herman loves his bicycle more than anything else in the world. After a day of shopping for boomerang bow ties and trick gum, Pee-wee discovers that his precious bike has been stolen. A brief stint of hysteria sets into Pee-wee's mind, and at the guidance of a phony psychic, our hero travels to the Alamo, only to learn that there is no basement.

Along the way Pee-wee encounters an escaped con, phantom trucker Large Marge, a rodeo, and a biker gang.

Pee-wee finally learns that his bike is on the set of Warner Brothers. He takes back his bicycle, and narrowly escapes, but discovers a burning pet store. Being of high moral character, Pee-wee saves all of the pets — even the snakes — only to be arrested. The top executive at Warner Brothers hears Pee-wee's story and decides to make a movie about it. Pee-wee doesn't have to see how it ends though, he lived it.
