Parsimony Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
In science, parsimony is the trait of being the least complicated explanation for an observation. This is widely held as a value for judging hypotheses. This value is embodied in Ockham's Razor.Parsimony is also used as a value in studies of molecular evolution, where the last common ancestor of two DNA sequences may be inferred by choosing the sequence that would require the smallest number of mutations to produce the two sequences that have been observed.
