Papendrecht Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Papendrecht (population: approx. 31,000) is a town in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland, along the River Beneden Merwede. The municipality covers an area of 10.77 km² (of which 1.29 km² water).Although Papendrecht is first mentioned in documents dating back to 1105, it remained a small settlement until the 1950s. In the 1960s its development really took off.
