The Opéra de Monte-Carlo is an opera house in Monaco.

The architect of the building was Charles Garnier, who also designed the Paris Opéra. It was inauguruated on January 25, 1879 with a performance by Sarah Bernhardt.

The theater became subsequently well-known for the many famous singers who performed there, inlcuding Adelina Patti, Francesco Tamagno, Nellie Melba, Enrico Caruso, Feodor Chaliapin, Mary Garden, Tito Schipa, Bejamin Gigli, Claudio Muzio, George Thill, and Lili Pons.
