Nicklas Lidström (born April 28 1970, in Västerås, Sweden) is a professional Ice Hockey Defenseman in the NHL, playing for the Detroit Red Wings.

Lidstrom has played all of his 12 seasons for Detroit. He has won 3 Stanley Cups (1997, 1998, 2002). He was drafted in 1989 by Detroit. His best season was 1999-00 when he had 73 points.
