The National Indoor Arena (opened in 1991) is situated in Birmingham, England is the country's leading indoor sports arena as well as being host to many other events such as music concerts.It has hosted many international events such as
- 1993 World Badminton Championships
- 1997 Eurovision Song Contest
- 1999 World Judo Championships
- 2003 IAAF World Indoor Championships
- a number of Davis Cup tennis matches.
It was the home of the Gladiators television programme from 1992 to 1999.
Many of the top stars in the world of music have appeared here also such as Paul McCartney, Oasis, Coldplay, and Destiny's Child.
It is run by the NEC Group, who also run the nearby International Convention Centre and the National Exhibition Centre.
