Naked Eyes Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Naked Eyes was an Eighties synthpop duo, best known for their first single, a cover of the Burt Bacharach / Hal David standard (There's) Always Something There To Remind Me. (Bacharach himself has cited the cover as a personal favorite.) The song reached number one in both the UK and the United States.

The group consisted of Pete Byrne on vocals and Rob Fisher on keyboards.

Their second single, Promises, Promises, was also a hit, however, their second album, Fuel For The Fire, was not as well-received as the first, and the group broke up soon after its release.

They released two albums:

  • Naked Eyes (1983) (US title)
  • Burning Bridges (1983) (UK title)
  • Fuel For The Fire (1984)
