Muisca Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
This indian group lived mainly in what today are the Cundinamarca and Boyacá highlands. They were farmers and artisans. Today remain sacred places like the lakes of Guatavita, Fuquene, Tota and Iguaque.
Guatavita is one of the many fabled locations of ElDorado, where local legends say a young girl broke a pot, and from there water flowed and the lake was made. Then the locals throwed their riches in the lake to avoid being discovered by the Spanish looters.
