Miguel Trovoada Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Miguel dos Anjos Trovoada (born 1936) was a former prime minister and president of São Tomé and Príncipe.Trovoada served as the nation's first prime minister from 12 July 1975 to March 1979. He was elected president in 1991 and re-elected in 1996.
His government was briefly overthown in a coup d'etat from 15 August 1995 to 21 August 1995.
President Trovoada's term ended on 3 September 2001 when Fradique de Menezes was sworn in as the new head of state.
